Moveit Pro 9 Published: Real-time Navigation for Service Robots

The software manufacturer Picknik presented version 9 of Moveit Pro. The update improves the capabilities of robots in complex environments such as vehicle washing or building cleaning. With optimized ‘scan-and-plan’ workflows, robots can now perceive their environment in real time and generate dynamic movement paths. This eliminates the need for rigidly pre-programmed instructions, which makes it much more flexible to use in variable working areas.
