Amazon hits one million robots in logistics centers

Amazon now uses over a million robots in its global warehouses. The systems take care of the storage, sorting and the internal transport of goods. According to the Amazon CEO, the further development of robotics is the key lever to further shorten delivery times and at the same time massively reduce operating costs.
