Lawsuit against OpenAI: ChatGPT is said to have enabled stalking by ex-partner

A woman has sued OpenAI because the company enabled her ex-partner to stalk and harass her by using ChatGPT. The plaintiff demands compensation and an injunction to oblige OpenAI to permanently block the user, to prevent new registrations and to inform them about further attempts at use. While OpenAI suspended the user, the company resists the further demands. Ms.’s lawyers accuse the company of withholding information on specific plans to infringe the applicant, which the user may have discussed with the AI. The court case is still ongoing.
