Memories.ai Develops Visual Reminder Infrastructure with NVIDIA AI Tools

The startup memories.ai Uses AI tools from Nvidia to provide an infrastructure for capture and playback of visual experiences in Wearables and Robots to develop. Founders Shawn Shen and CTO Ben Zhou launched the company in 2024. The idea came about during her work on the AI for the Meta Ray Ban Glasses, when they were looking for practical solutions to make recorded video data better retrievable and usable for users in everyday life.

To date, Memories.ai $16 million Collected in capital, including a $8 million Series A funding in July 2025. The core of the technology is a Large Visual Memory Model (LVMM)which is already in the second generation.

A LVMM (Large Visual Memory Model) is an AI model that works like a visual memory: it can not only store huge amounts of image and video data, but also ‘understand’ the content and search for specific moments or objects in a flash.

The company cooperates with well-known manufacturers of wearables and also has a partnership with Qualcomm closed to optimize the software directly on their processors.
